OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA We are organizing my exhibition ‘ April in Japan’ in the tea room at the Studio Kura Gallery. Moon, who is another artist here from New York, is helping me out with my exhibition opening tomorrow, 24 April, 2015, at 3.00.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Curator Chihiro created those Japanese stand for the painting for the exhibition. The bamboo and chopstick traditional craft skill impressed me!

Yvonne Koo is a Manchester based Fine Artist who is originally from Hong Kong. She has studied a BA and MA in Fine Art from Manchester School of Art. She works with traditional Chinese painting techniques and media which is refreshingly minimalist but contains a highly Taoist narrative.
